Today I headed up the coast with the church youth group. We were going to Ngatiawa near Paraparaumu for a 'retreat' - I hesitate to call it that but that's what they did - basically these people have set up a place where individuals and churches can get away from the city for de-stressing or fellowship etc. The purpose of this weekend was to sort the new evening services which are starting for the youth in the church and the older youth are organising it.
I am really enjoying the peacefulness of sitting at the stream, just listening to the rumbling of water over the rocks and birds in the trees. It's lovely and I'm really glad I came even if just for this. I am learning how to chill and take time out.
